After spending a few years working in multiple firms, Tao always felt like something was not right.
"Does this job really suit me?"
"Am I being underpaid?"
"Is what I'm doing really good for me long-term?"
Truth be told, it's not just him. Many of his colleagues and friends all say the same thing.
You probably felt it too; the anxiety, the confusion.
Here's the catch: As every individual is different, the best role for each person differs as well. You can't expect an analytical person to excel in a creative role and vice versa.
Being put in an unfitting role doesn't only cost your mental health, but it also costs you your time and potential.
Here's another big take: It's not wholly your fault. It's the career & educational system that is intentionally created to exploit you. Just like how asset management and investment are not taught in high school or university, they don't educate you on a career, so they can keep you in the middle, working hard all the time, without reaching your goal.
During his time as an employee, Tao has faced multiple instances of regrets.
"I should have stayed for a bit longer, now my profile looks not that great."
"I shouldn't downplay myself that much to get this job, now my salary is not as high as it should."
"I should have said yes to that offer rather than this one, now I have to push it through somehow."
All the 'should have' comes from one single thing: a lack of career knowledge. He too fell under the victim of the system.
The regret. The uncertainty. The frustration.
By mere luck, as Tao didn't even know about career that much, he was accepted and started his professional career at Resubae, a career consultancy startup that help people achieve fulfilling career.
At this high-paced startup, where he was quickly promoted from an Intern to an Entrepreneur in Residence and Chief of Staff, he was responsible for most of the operations. Meaning he has to help hundreds of clients land more job offers through Resume and LinkedIn Writing services.
After a few hundred resumes, he then quickly realised the patterns. 99% of the resumes that Thai professionals used were not practical. They were filled with useless information that do more harm than good. This intriqued his curiosity.
"With the insights and expertise of helping hundreds of people land a new job, can I tweak some parts and develop my own way of doing it, ensuring that job seekers able to land a new job within 1 month?"
To experiment on this idea, he applied it on his own profile and some of his friends who, luckily, were looking for a new job at that time.
Turns out, they got a new job within 3 weeks on average!
"If people landed more better and suitable job, this could help shape the future of Thailand and its next generations."
A simple thought. A profound impact.
After a few job hopping to test out his assumption, Tao decided to stop pursuing a stable corporate career path; instead, he bet on his inspiring vision of changing Thailand's career landscape, with his pocket money.
A risky path for a no-name. A life-changing values for others.
Thrivre was found with a simple mission: To unlock people's career potential. To enable people to grow with purpose and thrive with meaning that resonates with their belief and values.
Because we believe that this is what the world — yes, you included — urgently needed.

As Tao worked in both local and international teams, he recognised that all was the same. People were underpaid. High performers were unseen.
“Only if we can ensure that people get what they deserve, job satisfaction and productivity will increase naturally.”
So he did just that, helping unlock each individual’s career potential, enabling them to be where they deserved with effort.
The USA is known as an innovation powerhouse, China for its manufacturing supremacy, India for its IT & software outsourcing, the UK for its heritage industries, and Singapore for its financial hub.
What about Thailand? Only tourism?
“We want to change Thailand’s career landscape, so more people are able to find their path and excel with confidence, making Thailand emerge as a hub for world-class professional talents.”
With this vision in mind, Tao set out to do just that, one person at a time.
